Below is a list of positions along with some of the particular duties asked by the St John Vianney CWL Council.

Spiritual Development: to organize a spiritual program for each meeting, to arrange members’ involvement on Membership Sunday, to organize a Day of Reflection during Lent, to oversee our involvement with the World Day of Prayer when held at St John Vianney, and to assist in any other events where asked.

Organization: as often as possible this position is for the Vice-President who is preparing to step into the President position the following term. By being in charge of the membership, it assists in learning more about our members. Head of the phoning committee and performs any other duties that may be asked.

Christian Family Life: to keep all members informed in regard to Christian family life, remembering our Diocesan seminarians with cards or gift for special events and any other duties that may be asked.

Community Life: to keep members informed in regard to community life, arrange the coffee and goodies for each monthly meeting, after mass and the annual Christmas party in December and Strawberry Tea in June and any other duties that may be asked.

Education and Health: to keep members informed in regard to education and health topics, to have a speaker at monthly meetings, to administer the scholarship and bursary programs and any other duties that may be asked.

Communications: to send appropriate cards to members as requires, to head the white ribbon for pornography (WRAP) in October, to publish (or organize) a newsletter twice a year and any other duties that may be asked.

Resolutions: to keep members informed in regard to resolutions, lead us in ways we could help to implement resolutions already in effect and any other duties that may be asked of her.

Legislation: to keep members informed in regard to legislation, lead us in ways we could help to communicate with the different government bodies and any other duties that may be asked.

Secretary: record the minutes of the general meetings and be a signing officer for all official documents.

Treasurer: maintain the financial records of the council. Receive monies and pay all accounts as authorized, prepare a report of revenues and expenditures for each monthly meeting.
